The MiXto Fractionated CO2 is a laser retexturing treatment that can smooth out the surface of the skin and rejuvenate the overall appearance–with minimal downtime. The treatment removes the outer layer of skin and prompts collagen production at deeper layers. New skin and collagen growth will improve the surface of the skin, revitalizing the overall appearance over time.Dr. Gary Goldenberg and Dr. Kristina Goldenberg, New York board certified dermatologists and laser resurfacing specialists, recommend their custom Fractional CO2 laser NYC treatments for patients who would like to improve the tone and texture of their skin.

A Fractional CO2 laser NYC procedure can address a variety of skin imperfections, such as:
Although the Fractionated CO2 laser NYC treatment is most frequently used on the face, it can also be used on other parts of the body. Dr. Gary Goldenberg and Dr. Kristina Goldenberg routinely treat the neck, chest, and hands.
During a treatment, your doctor will pulse laser light onto the treatment area, selectively controlling the depth of penetration. On average, a treatment takes about 30 minutes. For most patients, one treatment is sufficient. For those with more severe acne scars or deep wrinkles, additional treatments may be recommended. Although many patients are ready to go back to work within a day, downtime will vary. On average, a patient may experience 4-5 days of recovery. After a treatment, a patient will notice redness and some tenderness, much like a mild sunburn. Peeling typically occurs after a few days, causing flaking skin and some itchiness. This will resolve itself within a few days, as the skin heals.
